As a result of this process, two new Regulation proposals, the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA) were published on 15 December 2020.The Digital Services Act is a bit like a Russian doll. It provides rules for Intermediary services offering network infrastructure, with special rules for hosting services, online platforms and very large platforms. Very large platforms are online platforms that reach more than 10% of the EU's population (45 million users) and are considered systemic in nature
