The book features chapters from 15 authors who describe their psychology leadership careers in the Veterans Administration/Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The careers of the chapter authors collectively span the entire history of VA psychology starting in 1946. Many chapter authors describe experiences as a trainee in the first decade of the VA training program as well as their roles as an early VA chief of psychology.
