Interrupted Fate

Jillian and Peter had been best friends as children and had fallen in love as teenagers, but a cruel twist of fate tore them apart for a little over a decade. After a failed attempt at marriage, Peter goes home to his roots, seeking a fresh start, not expecting to find Jillian still living there and looking more beautiful than ever before. Life had been hard for Jillian. After losing Peter, she'd fallen in with the wrong crowd and she'd ended up as part of a violent gang.
