Gator Greats

The athletes responsible for the meteoric rise of the University of Florida football program between 1991 and 2008 reads like a Who's Who of College Football. The Gator Way: Profiles of a Champion™ chronicles the life of one outstanding player from each of Florida's combined eight SEC and national championship teams. Former wide receiver and ESPN Radio host Chris Doering profiles the lives of these gridiron heroes both on and off the field through one-on-one interviews with the players and their families. In his own chapter, Doering recounts making the team as a walk on in 1991 and, by graduation, catching more touchdown passes than anyone in UF and Southeastern Conference history.
