Over the last two decades, increasing numbers of refugees have resettled in Australia from Africa. The purpose of the study is to focus on the psychological and social experiences of young African refugees in Australia and to establish new insight into how young people experience displacement and resettlement. This study documents the discovery of a culturally responsive social work intervention model for refugees.
