Bio Inspired Method For Improving Routing Protocol Performances In Vehicular Ad Hoc Network

This thesis focuses on the development and integration of Chameleon Method (CM) for improving the efficiency of AODV and GPSR routing protocols in city, highway and hybrid VANET scenarios. The design and modeling of CM involves the integration of Taguchi and Differential Evolution optimization methods. Both optimization methods are integrated with AODV and GPSR based-on INET3.5 simulation framework and OMNET++ simulator. The proposed methods are evaluated in realistic simulation of highway and city VANET scenarios based-on Changlun City map.
