Aerial Radiometric And Magnetic Reconnaissance Survey Of The Eagle Dillingham Area Alaska

A high-sensitivity aerial gamma-ray spectrometer and magnetometer survey was conducted in central and eastern areas of Alaska covering (eleven quadrangles) and in the areas north of the Alaska Peninsula (covering two quadrangles) as part of the United States Department of Energy's National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) Program. This program provides information on reconnaissance radioelement distribution to assist in assessing the uraniferous material potential in the United States. The analysis includes U, Th, and K (uranium, thorium, and potassium) contents of rocks.
