Value Engineering Study Of Bridge Painting

This study was conducted by New Jersey, New York, and Wisconsin. The report includes specific recommendations in the areas of painting cycles, implementation of an inspection program, use of contract painting, and training for bridge painting inspectors. Successful implementation of the study recommendations in the three States involved in this project would result in a total estimated savings in excess of 350,000 dollars annually.
