Supermodel Lainey Cartwright has the perfect life—stunning looks, lots of money, a killer career and a supermodel boyfriend. When she realizes that her runway days might be over and that her boyfriend is cheating on her with her manager, the same manager that apparently has been robbing her blind for years, Lainey panics and runs away, out into the cold and rainy Copenhagen night. Sociology student Palle Jensen believes that money is the root of all evil and is determined to do good and save the world as a social worker, despite the fact that no one believes that he has what it takes to handle the brutal reality of society's darker side.
