Recognizing the efficient performance of the NGOs in terms of involvement, administration services, the Government has involved them in implementation all its welfare programmes. The universities are also involved in community development through their outreach activities. In view of the involvement of Government, NGOs and Universities in community development requires coordination among them so as to impart life education and to improve the quality of social service activities and to avoid the duplication of efforts and wastage.
