In it are collected the most memorable words of Jesus Christ, including the Parables of the Sower, the Prodigal Son, the Rich Man and Lazarus, the Good Shepherd, the Vine and the Branches, and other parables; the words of Jesus to the Jewish Leaders; his words on the Eucharist; the Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross (including meditations on each); his words after his Resurrection; on the Last Judgment; and other memorable sayings of Our Lord. The book also contains two beautiful and prayer-inspiring illustrations, one of Jesus being tempted in the desert by Satan, and one of the Crucifixion. The RSV New Testament translation is used in most of the text.
