Container homes are exactly what they sound like; homes made from the steel shipping containers that you see carrying goods everywhere on trains, trucks, and ships. From these giant Lego blocks, people are building homes of all shapes and sizes. The purpose of this guide is to provide a detailed walk-through of each step of the process of shipping container selection, transport, foundation, utilities, modification, and finishing. In each chapter, one aspect of construction is explored in depth, beginning with the planning process and extending through to the completed home.
