Psychedelic Shamanic Magick

While maintaining an intimate link with the reader, the author Kenny Berman describes a practical shamanic method for applying sacred visionary plants for healing and transformational purposes. The ancient methods taught within are techniques he learned from the plants in the same manner as the shamans receive their knowledge. These methods were later refined and elaborated upon through his experiences working with mestizo curanderos in the Ucayali region of the Peruvian Amazon and other curanderos in Chiapis, Mexico in the 1990's. The book documents shamanic techniques for applying sacred visionary plants, namely: ayahuasca, Psilocybe mushrooms, Iboga, Salvia divinorum, peyote, San Pedro and others in a prescribed ritual manner. It begins by stating the philosophy of Psychedelic Shamanic Magick and then continues to describe all the shamanic tools (smoke, feathers, voice, scent, percussion, color, stones and more.) that are used in conjunction with willpower for creating a lasting change or to reveal transformative information. It ties all of this together into a complete ritual process beginning with the collection of the plants and culminating in the final procedure of consuming a sacred visionary plant in ceremony.
