Persephones Path

All myths skew the truth... Twenty years have come and gone since the Titan War; since Hades' fate was sealed. He has remained in the Underworld, a recluse who misses his home but accepts his self-inflicted banishment. He believes he'll never set foot again on the Upperworld, but that changes when he's convinced to go to Olympus for The Deciding: a celebration of gods and goddesses about to receive their Purposes. By chance, Hades encounters Persephone, a young goddess with eyes as captivating as a field of flowers. Their time together on Olympus is brief, but Persephone manages to do the unthinkable. She brings joy to his wounded heart. All Persephone has dreamed of is entering godhood and being strong enough to detach from her mother's hip. After meeting Hades, she realizes she craves something more, something she's never considered before now. It isn't until a strange encounter with the Fates that she takes the opportunity to live on her terms. This newfound bravery and confidence drive her to the Underworld, a place full of secrets that she's the center of. Another side of her awakens, a terrifying and exhilarating side that pushes her further into Hades' arms and has her falling in love with a realm she's been taught to fear and hate. Every time she visits, she finds it more difficult to leave, to remember her place. Things turn for the worse when Zeus discovers her biggest secret. Fearful of the truth, he lashes out; hurting all those in existence. Can Persephone embrace the truth in time to stop Zeus? Can she find a way to have Hades but also fully embrace her Purpose?
