Nato And Collective Defence In The 21st Century

This book presents a cutting edge assessement of NATO's collective defence strategies in the immediate aftermath of the NATO Warsaw Summit. The chapters in this volume critically assess and discuss the various aspects of the main issues raised and the different initiatives proposed at the sumit, including the Very High Readiness Taskforce (VJTF), nuclear policies of deterrence, NATO's presence in the Baltics and Poland, and Sweden and Finland's relationship with NATO.
