Leave Of Absence

"Leave of Absence" is the story of endings and beginnings. The writer, Kinshasa Jordan, takes a leave of absence from her full time teaching position in a school in Connecticut, in order to escape from a destructive relationship. She finds her way to a new temporary job at Allerton University in suburban Philadelphia. There she meets new colleagues, among them one Corey Lomax, who has been betrayed recently and is determined to reject any need for love.
