TRB's Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2291 consists of 14 papers that examine managing a major transportation program with data from geographic information systems (GIS); using GIS for mapping oversized and overweight truck routes; work zone safety analysis; traffic monitoring systems; and monitoring travel time reliability.
