This edition of Halsbury's Statutes of England and Wales comprises the statute law of England and Wales from the earliest times down to the present day. Every important Public General Act and Church of England Measure currently in force is included, together with a number of private and local acts. This material is set out under titles in an arrangement similar to that used in Halsbury's Laws, and for the 4th edition several new titles have been added, among them Health and Safety at Work, Legal Aid, Consumer Credit, and Civil Rights and Liberties.
