This book is about the science and technology of golf balls. Many golfers don't understand enough about the modern golf ball to choose which ball they should be using. The author has reviewed the US patent literature from Acushnet Company, the maker of Titleist and Pinnacle golf balls, and has summarized the latest developments in golf ball aerodynamics, the various dimple patterns, the composition of the core and the cover, and why these issues are so important for golfers today.
