Sustainable farming involves managing natural resource assets such as soils, water, vegetation and biodiversity within their regenerative capacity to produce food, fibre and energy. Having a sustainable farming business is about prioritising holistic production and natural systems, environmental and social stewardship, wellbeing and lifestyle, and community connectedness. From my experience and training, I have designed a four-stage methodology that accommodates all the different aspects of farming, enabling farmers to effectively plan and achieve future sustainability goals. I work with farmers to quickly and competently identify the source of their issues and help them find their own clarity, capacity and confidence in order to move forward.
