Islam is at the heart of so much of what we talk about today, from Terrorism, to geopolitics, to economics, to the fate of Europe and the United States. The Western establishment insists that Islam is a religion of peace, while a growing group of insurgents claims that Islam is a source of eternal evil. They're both wrong. The story that the Establishment is selling about terrorism and US policy simply isn't true. They've been careful to say nice things about Islam because they want to hide some very basic facts about the religion, and what has been done to it over the past half century. Those who believe Islam is evil are wrong. But in order to truly fight hateful stories about Islam we have to present the full story, not just a part of it. Which means we need to talk about Saudi Arabia, and we need to talk about that country's cancerous relationship with the US government. We need to talk about what this relationship has done to Islam, and the true roots of Terrorism. These roots can be found in Saudi Arabia, and they can be found in Washington, DC.This essay draws on years of research to provide the truth, or at least something closer to it than we have been given by US government and media.
