Any wrong foundation given to a child can create an indelible stigma in his/her character. The bible clearly told us that children are the heritage from the lord (Psalm 127:3). It also teaches that we must train up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). Many parents and homes are suffering today as a result of neglect and failure to train up their children when they were young as the scripture said. In view of this, many parents have been asking: where have we gone wrong? or what have we not done for our children that make some of them behave the way they are behaving today i.e being stubborn, rude, arrogant and harmful to their parents and society?
