Children In Therapy

Provides mental health professionals who work with children with a variety of age-appropriate paper-and-pencil activities for troubled children ages five-12. Activities are designed as enjoyable games that the therapist and child can play in the context of therapy. Activities are intended for individual therapy, but can be modified for use in groups. Includes chapters offering an individual therapy practice model and an assessment guide for individual therapy. Appendices provide assessment scales, additional activity ideas, lists of children's books and magazines, and a sample assessment.
