Butenes Production From Ethylene Cost Analysis Butene E11a

This report presents a cost analysis of Butenes production from ethylene using a dimerization process. The process examined is similar to CB&I Lummus Ethylene Dimerization Technology. In this process, gasoline and fuel oil are generated as by-products. This report examines one-time costs associated with the construction of a United States-based plant and the continuing costs associated with the daily operation of such a plant.
