This is a fiction story for young adults. It’s about a fifteen-year-old girl who is trying to grow up too fast. When she runs away with her twenty-one-year old boyfriend, she soon finds out that she is not ready for the adult world. In the beginning it was the dream of a lifetime, the perfect fairy tale, with the handsome prince carrying the lovely maiden off to a beautiful palace and living happily ever after. However, that dream was soon lost. Her dream boat became abusive, she became pregnant and began to take the frustration of her unhappy home life out on the baby. When the love of her life beats her so bad and puts her in the hospital, this young girl became confused. What happened to her palace? And where did the handsome prince go?
