600 Kings Gambit Miniatures

This is the second of a new series of Chess Miniatures by Bill Wall.The King's Gambit (1.e4 e5 2.f4) is one of the oldest documented chess openings known. It has been popular for over 300 years. It is still appealing to aggressive and attacking players who like exciting open games. There are probably more chess traps and pitfalls in the King's Gambit than any other opening. Studying short games is a great way for beginners to grandmaster to learn and appreciate not just the openings but the different variations of that opening. This collection of over 600 King's Gambit miniatures in 25 moves or less illustrates how quickly opening mistakes can be made for both sides.
